Where should you stay on your Portland steelhead fishing trip? Near the river, of course! Portland, Oregon has all the chain hotels, luxury hotels, and budget motels you could want. For those looking for a change of pace, however, take a look at one of these four options. The first two listings are riverfront bed & breakfast offerings on the Sandy River, a major Portland steelhead fishing trip destination.

The second two listings are larger resorts in the Columbia River Gorge with full restaurants, lounges, spa services, golf, etc. All lodges listed are conveniently located within an hour’s drive of Portland International Airport (PDX) for close access to meet up with your Portland steelhead fishing guide or your Portland steelhead fishing charter.

Hidden Woods Bed & Breakfast – Another private, gated B&B located along the Sandy River in the foothills of Mt. Hood halfway between the cities of Sandy and Welches. There are two double occupancy rooms available in the private 3,000 sq. ft. rustic log home originally built in 1929.
