Lewis & Clark State Park Boat Ramp
Lewis & Clark State Park Boat Ramp – The boat launch on the Sandy River at Lewis & Clark State Park is located approximately 16 miles east of Portland off Interstate 84 near Troutdale. Parking is free and the boat ramp is located across the street from the parking area. *Please use caution when crossing the street*

Directions from Portland on Interstate 84 East

  1. From Portland head east on I-84 to Troutdale
  2. Take Exit 18 – Lewis & Clark State Park / Oxbow Regional Park and go 0.2 miles to stop sign

  3. Turn left at the stop sign onto NE Jordan Rd. and follow the sign to Lewis & Clark State Park. Go 0.2 miles

  4. Turn left into the parking lot of Lewis & Clark State Recreation Site

  1. From downtown Sandy head north on Bluff Rd. and go 3.3 miles

  2. Turn Right at SE Hudson Rd. (follow sign toward Dodge Park) and go 1.1 miles

  3. Turn Left at SE Lusted Rd. and go 3.3 miles
  4. Turn Right at SE Hosner Rd. and go 0.5 miles
  5. Turn Left at SE Oxbow Dr. which becomes SE Division Dr. and go 2.4 miles

  6. Turn Right at SE 302nd Ave. which becomes SE Kerslake Rd. and go 1.8 miles
  7. Turn Right at SE Stark St. and go 0.6 miles to Stark Street Bridge and cross the Sandy River

Dabney State Park Boat Ramp
Dabney State Park Boat Ramp – The boat launch on the Sandy River at Dabney State Park is located 4 miles east of Troutdale off the Historic Columbia River Highway near the Stark Street Bridge. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Follow the trail near the restrooms down to the river.

  1. From Portland head east on I-84 to Troutdale
  2. Take exit 18 – Lewis & Clark State Park / Oxbow Regional Park and go 0.2 miles to stop sign
  3. Turn Left at the stop sign onto NE Jordan Road (follow sign towards Lewis & Clark State Park) and go 0.3 miles to stop sign

  4. Turn Left onto Historic Columbia River Hwy. (follow sign towards Historic Hwy / Corbett) and go 2.5 miles

  5. Turn Right into Dabney State Park ½ mile after you pass the Stark Street Bridge

Oxbow Park Boat Ramp
Oxbow Park Boat Ramp – A 1,200 acre natural area park located 20 miles east of Portland off SE Division Street. The park is situated within the wild and scenic section of the Sandy River Gorge. Park admission is $5 per vehicle.

  8. Turn Left at SE Oxbow Pkwy (follow sign to Oxbow Park) and go down the hill 1.6 miles

  9. Enter Oxbow Regional Park and drive through the park 2.2 miles to the boat ramp. *Please stay under the 15 mph speed limit within the park boundary*
  10. Turn left into the boat ramp parking lot and park across from the restrooms.

  7. Turn left into the boat ramp parking lot and park across from the restrooms.
Dodge Park Boat Ramp
Dodge Park Boat Ramp – The boat launch at Dodge Park is located approximately 7 miles north of the city of Sandy off SE Lusted Road near the confluence of the Sandy River and the Bull Run River. Dodge Park is situated within the wild & scenic section of the Sandy River Gorge. Parking is free.

  5. Turn Right at Stark Street Bridge (follow sign to Oxbow Park) cross the Sandy River and go 0.6 miles

  8. Turn Right at SE Hosner Rd. and go 0.5 miles

  9. Turn Left at SE Lusted Rd. and go 4.7 miles to the bridge and cross the Sandy River
  10. Turn Left into Dodge Park (entrance is on the left just after the bridge)
  11. Drive through the park past the stone building to the boat launch.

  1. From Hwy 26 in downtown Sandy head north on Bluff Rd. and go 3.3 miles
  2. Turn Right at SE Hudson Rd. (follow sign towards Dodge Park) and go 1.1 miles

  3. Turn Right at SE Lusted Rd. and drive 1.4 miles down the hill to the bridge and cross the Sandy River
  4. Turn left into Dodge Park (entrance is on the left just after the bridge)
  5. Drive through the park past the stone building to the boat launch.
